Genevieve
Lang
Since
graduating from the Canberra School of Music, Genevieve has been
working professionally in Sydney and around Australia for 10
years. She currently holds the position of Guest Principal Harp
with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, and also works regularly
with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and the Australian Opera and
Ballet Orchestra.
Genevieve is
a regular recording artist for ABC Classics, and has worked closely
with artists such as Aled Jones, Jane Rutter, Teddy Tahu Rhodes,
David Hobson and Annalisa Kerrigan, with whom she has toured
Ireland.
At the harp,
Genevieve has been described as a sensuous and mesmerising performer.
As well as performing solo, Genevieve enjoys working in a variety
of styles and alongside different colleagues, from string trios
to saxophone, or with soprano for a truly sublime entertainment
event.
