The MOODS
The band was formed
in late 1991 and came to its current line up in mid 2002.
They are Sydney
based and play an eclectic mix of music which needs to pass the
criteria of being good to listen or dance to and fun to play.
The repertoire
ranges from early trad music in the New Orleans style through
to the swing of the big band played in a small band setting,
south American dance numbers, standards from the Frank Sinatra
& Dean Martin songbooks to 1960s grooves similar to the style
known in the 1990s as acid jazz.
For weddings
& functions they pull out some soul classics, mix in some
Rolling Stones, British 1960s rock and a little disco.
